| What Is New in World Clock |
Version 1.1.1
The graphical user interface of the application is updated to reflect the changes in OS 7 and the new high resolution devices (Bold 9900 / 9930, Torch 9810, Torch 9850 / 9860, etc.).
Version 1.1
New Features
The idea behind this new feature is to help the user see / check the time at her desired locations easily and quickly without having to open the entire World Clock application. Screen saver works pretty much like a regular PC / Desktop screen saver. It is displayed on top of user's screen and is activated after a predefined inactivity time which can be configured. It displays all the clocks (locations) the user added to her main screen in World Clock and actually looks pretty much like the main screen of World Clock. By default screen saver is turned off.
In version 1.0 there was a limit of up to six clocks which the user can add to the main screen of World Clock. This limit is now removed so the user can add as much clocks as needed.
In version 1.0 the time format used by the application was automatically detected from user's device settings. In 1.1 we also added an explicit setting in World Clock to choose the time format. It has three options: a) automatically detect from device (as in 1.0); b) always AM / PM format; c) always 24h format.
